What is the best rock, blues, or pop, or country song with a harmonica?
Tu cara asked:
By this, I don’t mean what is the best song that happens to have a note played by a harmonica. I mean what song has the best harmonica part? I would have to say pretty much any Rolling Stones harmonica part. I especially liked a version of “Miss You” I heard that contained a harmonica solo.

BlackFoot Train Train
I have to agree with Train, Train by Blackfoot.
Baba O’Riley by the Who at the end of the song.
5 Days in May by Blue Rodeo
Bad Timing by Blue Rodeo
Alot of their songs have harmonica
Fade Away by Rolling Stones
Aerosmith has a few, but I can only remember Pink right now, and Doobie Brothers, Long Train Runnin.
Some of my favorite songs featuring harmonica:
Billy Joel – Piano Man
Blues Traveler – Run Around, Hook
Stevie Wonder – Isn’t She Lovely
Bob Dylan – Positively 4th Street
Black Sabbath – The Wizard
Tom Cochrane – Life Is A Highway
Muddy Waters – Mannish Boy
Led Zeppelin – Nobody’s Fault But Mine
GnR – Bad Obsession
” Look What You Done ” – The Rolling Stones
” On The Road Again ” – Canned Heat
” What I Like About You ” – The Romantics
” I’m A Loser ” – The Beatles
Let’s get back to the Rolling Stones. Check out “Little Red Rooster” from 1965. Or “One More Try” from 1964.
Heart of Gold, Neil Young
When The Levee Breaks-Led Zeppelin is my favourite song that involves a harmonica. I love the way he plays it. A merky, F minor riff. Gotta love it!
Don’t forget the J. Geils Band- “Magic Dick talk to Me!”
I’ll give you a whole album; “Full House” by the J. Geils Band. This was recorded live in Detroit back in the good ol’ days. It could have been entitled Tear the House Down – those boys could rock out.
