Learn the minor pentatonic progression. This the predominate progression in blues.
Yes, you must learn the pentatonic scale in all keys. Also, if you search hard hard enough on the internet you can scrounge up some blues licks and riffs.
Other than that, the only thing you can is develop your ear and listen to nothing but delta blues (or any other blues).
Listen to it. Listen to a LOT of it.
Try to play the riffs you hear, even if you only get three or four notes.
Incoropate cool riffs you learn into your own playing.
Use the minor pentatonic, the major pentatonic, and how to mix between the two. learn scales and riffs as a guide but DO NOT be limited by them!
Most importantly: If it sounds good, it *IS* good.
start with w.c.handy and go from there you will pick up robert johnson, muddy waters, and the others look up w.c. handy and pull up his music on the inet, you will find all you want from the king family to the total roots, ok they felt it, you will be different and have to be able to change the sound to youur likes and feelings, after all that is the blues, if you dont feel it then it isnt blues
